Climb Kilimanjaro

Rongai Route (6-7 Days)

Rongai Route (6-7 Days)

Overview

Approaching from near the Kenyan border, the Rongai Route traverses unspoiled northern slopes that receive significantly less rainfall than southern routes. Trekkers experience broad, open wilderness vistas with gentle grades and camps beneath the jagged spires of Mawenzi Peak. The descent follows the southern Marangu Route, giving climbers views of both sides of Mount Kilimanjaro.
